Beacon of Hope Ministries Youth Department
Looking beyond as we shape the minds of the next generation.
Growing up I have always have a passion for children especially seeing that I came from a large family of eleven (11) other sibling. My passion in the near future is to be a business owner to open a daycare into a pre-school. I am a very active member within my youth group and I was nominated to Advisor to my senior group. As a youth teacher my heart always goes out to children and I always believe they deserve that chance to shine. I also lend a helping had to assist with vacation bible school and afterschool program for children within my church community.
Summer Projects
Even during my busy schedule I still find time to volunteer in activities for the youths. I am and still a active member within my summer camp program. I started out as a volunteer then was nominated to a dorm leader for teen between the ages of 13 to 16. Youth development as always been a strong suit for me as I always want to see and bring out the best in the youths.
Community Outreach Program
I am very active member within the ladies group within my church under the name Potter Clay Inc. Within this group I was nominated to the post of assistant secretary to the group. Some of the activities that we offer as a group to our community are clothes drive, food hampers during COVID and also our Christmas food drive. We as women decided that we wanted to assist in the educational advancement within our community children so we created an after school program where we assist families and children with their school work. One thing is that I would never allow my size to get in the way of my children and my community for I am always there to lend a helping hand to the best of my ability.
